SCHOLARSHIPS
Roosevelt Public Power District will award a $1,000 scholarship from Basin Electric Power Cooperative and two $500 Scholarships from Tri-State Generation and Transmission, Inc. to dependents of local Roosevelt Public Power District consumers.
Applications for the scholarships must be United States citizens and the dependents of Roosevelt Public Power District employees or consumers. Applicants also must be students enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited, two year or four- year college, university or vocational/technical school.
Scholarship information will include: SAT/ACT scores and overall grade point average, work experience, participation in school and community activities, a personal statement of career goals, applicant appraisal and an essay question.
Roosevelt PPD will be awarding $2,000 scholarships for the Lineman Scholarship. This is for students attending a Power Line School.
All applications are due back in our office by February 17, 2025. Not the date listed on the application.
Applications for the Basin and Tri-State scholarships are available from your school counselor, online on our webpage, or can be picked up at our office.
Applications for the Lineman Scholarship are different and are also available from the above locations and due the same date at stated above.
